Our stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience filled with breathtaking views of Mt. Yotei and enjoyable amenities. The rooms, while clean and comfortable, do show signs of aging, and the dining experience could use some improvement in food quality. The convenient location at the base of the ski slopes is unbeatable for skiing enthusiasts, making it ideal for family vacations. Overall, we found it to be a great value for what we paid, despite a few minor drawbacks.

8.2/10
My stay at the hotel was quite memorable, especially with skiing right outside the door and the stunning view of the mountains. The Onsen was a unique experience, and I enjoyed delicious meals at various hotel restaurants. However, the bathroom in my room was outdated, and the dining prices were on the steep side, which made me consider dining outside more often.
Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, but the bathroom was cramped and in need of renovation.
Service
10.0
The service was incredibly helpful and attentive, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay.

Dining

While the dining options were good, the prices were quite high, and the breakfast could use some improvement.

5.4/10
My stay at this hotel was quite disappointing, especially considering the price I paid. The room I was given had a strong smell of cigarette smoke despite requesting a non-smoking room, but I did receive a better room after raising the issue. Unfortunately, my experience at the nearby ski area was marred by theft, which made me feel quite insecure during my stay. Overall, while the staff was responsive, the security situation really needs improvement.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms were not well-prepared upon arrival and the second room, although better, was still lacking initial cleanliness.
Service
6.0
The service from the staff was mixed; they did respond to issues but there were major lapses in cleanliness and preparedness.
Location
5.0
The hotel is located conveniently near the ski area, but the security for personal belongings doesn't inspire confidence.
Dining

Dining options felt overpriced and limited, which was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber.
Facilities

6.4/10
My experience at the hotel was disappointing overall. While it had a great location right next to the ski lifts, the room cleanliness and service were subpar. The dining options were limited and expensive, which made the stay feel like poor value for money. Additionally, the onsen facilities were not well-maintained, and it did not provide a relaxing environment. I can't recommend this hotel as a good choice for families or travelers looking for a pleasant stay.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms were small and only suitable for a family of four, including a toddler. Despite having a nice view of Mount Yotei, cleanliness was an issue.
Service
5.0
Service was inconsistent and staff seemed untrained, which led to communication issues regarding ski equipment rentals.
Location
9.0
The hotel is in an excellent location for ski-in ski-out access, directly adjacent to gondolas.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were plentiful but got repetitive quickly, and the quality didn't justify the high prices.
Facilities
5.0
Onsen facilities were dirty, and there was a lack of oversight which allowed guests to misuse the area.

7.4/10
The Hilton in Niseko is a convenient choice for skiing, right at the lift with ski valet services and amazing onsen facilities. While the room I stayed in was clean and had a great view, some elements felt a bit dated. The dining options at the hotel are quite expensive, but there are other places to eat nearby. Overall, it's a fantastic location for skiing, but service could be more attentive and welcoming.
Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the snow-covered slopes. However, it felt somewhat dated compared to newer hotels, and I think there's room for improvement in upkeep.
Service
7.0
The service was helpful and attentive, especially during breakfast. However, I did find the staff could improve their welcoming experience as it felt somewhat basic.
Location
9.0
Superb location right next to the cable car, making it incredibly easy to access the slopes. It is indeed a bit isolated from the town and requires shuttle service to reach nearby areas.
Dining
6.0
Dining options at the hotel were excellent but on the pricey side. It's better to explore nearby restaurants for a more affordable experience without compromising on quality.
Facilities
8.0
The onsen facilities were a great highlight, offering both indoor and outdoor options for relaxation after a long day of skiing. However, the lobby area was surprisingly cold, which detracted from the overall atmosphere.
